The Two Mixed-Up Seasons

Winter
winter is frozen
a frozen land indeed
but it has many beautiful things
just hiding out away
so I recommend
going out just for fun
Summer
Image result for summer
summer is a joy
but has many dark secrets
just hiding under
the plants and trees
you may find them
but don't get too close
or they will swallow you up

Why is the world so
Cruel, it hurts it stings the pain
Beauty and magic exist to

Dependent of others
They support and guide me through
The devastating

Colors and emotions
The Joy of success but it
Hurts to win for me

THE FUJI FLOWER

1.
Image result for japanese flower
Japanese flowers at their best-
When I look back...
I see something truly wonderful -                      Mount Fuji.

2.
When I sit on a rock
I have to watch out
For it could be a tortoise.

3.If you blow bubbles
Make sure they are edible
For they are easy to mistake for tapioca

4.
Folding is something
Easy but hard
As it appears like magic

Haikus

Haikus
by Petra Dijur

A smooth inky flow
Graceful curves, elegant curls
A blank stark white page

Old mythology
A secretive mystery
Full moons and werewolves

Smooth shimmering scales
A violet eye, flash of fire
Secretive dragons

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)┬┴┬┴┤ ͜ʖ ͡°) ├┬┴┬┴

Two dead animals
one broken man who regrets
A beautiful bird

The little dog eyes
shine in the moonlight, glowing
His warm tongue licks me

Orange sky moonlight
Dark clouds rolling in shadows
A bright summers day

DAMAGED

DAMAGED

Click the mouse
Screen glows white

Didn't know
It would end in
Tears

A hand reaches out
Of the screen

It pinches me hard,
Harder

Until rain comes
And drips
Down my cheeks

On my shirt,
My lap

Until I click
The mouse again

Screen goes black
Like nothing has happened

But yet,
A life has been
damaged

Cyberbully

Cyberbully
By Elaine Chi

Why should people bully when
they know it's right?
It hurts people's feeling
as much as it hurts mine.
I know how it feel because
I had experience it.

Why would people bully
when they know it isn't right?
why would people bully
when they know it isn't right/

Bully hurts you in many
way but why would they do
that.They trip you, make
you fall, they stole your
things and said it's theirs.

Why would people bully
when they know it isn't right?
Why would people bully
when they know it isn't right?

Authors Note

The reason I chose to write about Cyberbully is because many kid is being bully each and every day and that they are being hurt too each and every day. Also it hurts my feeling to know that even through I experience it.

Equal

Equal

By: Corrine Ni

Every human are the same,
When we try to walk, for the first time.
So what is your aim?
What do you hide?

We are the same.
We are equal.

We may not all look the same,
But we all try to live,
you may think I am lame,
But I am just as good as you.

We are the same.
We are equal.

We all sing the same song,
Yet why are you in spotlight
while I'm under your shadow.

We are the same.
We are equal.

You get ten,
 yet I get half .
So my skin is what you truly despise?

We are the same.
We are equal.

Author's Note
HI!!! AUTHOR OF "EQUAL" HERE! So I made this poem because I was thinking about the poem "Equality" by Maya Angelou and "Democracy" by Langston Hughes and it's about racism Soooooo yaaaaa.

Cheese

 Cheese

Although It may be every were i
Find it very special,I'l have it with some toast or
have it with a pretzel

its yellow and goey
And also very chewy

It melts in a burger
If i had no cheese i might go beserker

I like it american or maybe even swiss
what would life be if cheese couldn't exist

Cheese can be dipped
or sometimes sipped
or maybe even eaten with a
god ol chip

Tyrant

 Tyrant
 by Petra Dijur

A tyrant is ruling the land
In Pumtr's fist my life is clutched
I am no more then a grain of sand
My protest has been shushed

Happily ever after will not come
A veil is descending
Death is certain for some
In half my life is rending

The world will never be the same
Sentenced to certain doom
I am put to shame
Over me death's shadow looms

Now read from the bottom up.

I was thinking about a certain president's current reign and how another  country is playing with nueclear weapons.

Social Commentary Poem- Gwendolyn Sze

Racism

By Gwendolyn Sze

I know that being racist,
is also being rude.
But if there's another side,
one that isn't really crude?

Could it be an opinion?
Or just a rude remark?
Could it be the only side,
or is there another part?

Might it be a simple thought,
or a different thing?
Isn't it another way
to let the bell of racism ring?

Author's note

The point of this poem is to show people that being racist can be an accident. Everyone has said something mean about someone behind that person's back. So why judge people on what they say one time? Everyone gets angry. So why blame people for venting?

Transportation

Transportation
by Daniel Scuria-Herman

Transportation is simple
As simple as walking around.
But cavemen got bored doing as so;
They instead decided to ride horses, feet off the ground.
They attached carriages
To their horses and dogs, bound
To travel in comfort.

Boats were developed,
But the human race
Stuck with the idea to lope
‘Round on objects with wheels
And created the train, only to hope
For more.

They finally made cars.
And this simple mode of transportation
Has marred
The lives of many away.

How many more will have to die
before you open your eyes?
How many more signatures,
How many more injuries,
How many lives changed for the worse
Will it take?

This can’t be pushed to the back burner.
Not anymore.

Not ever.

Fall Feelings

Fall Feelings

You pull up to the house
Tires crunching on the gravel

The house is big
A pile of red and orange leaves to the side of it

Open the car door
A smoky smell of leaves in the air

Wrapping your sweater tight around you
The chill giving a promise of white winters.

They greet you with hugs
And bright welcoming smiles

You receive a cup of cocoa
It warms your hands from the chilly outdoors.

When you take a sip,
Your mouth dances with the sweetness of the cocoa

Your belly warms
With the feel of something in it.

The fire crackles
When you sit on the floor in front of it

Your toes are warm now
Sipping your cocoa by the red orange and yellow flames

This is where you want to be
the way the wind
blows
harmfully
to the small
orange red and brown leaves
tells me we should
swords to our new shields
is better
than a knife
through our
freedom
is better than
nothing
for we
will fight
until the match
has ended
though you say
it won't
it will
your final resting place
depends
on one move
surrender
you snarl
never
i say
you have ruined lives
surrender
 you say again
or what i say
as i jam my knife
through yourheart

Wronged but Right

Wronged but Right
A POEM

Wronged.
A Sad song.
People say it’s fine but no, you want to be right
To hurt who have wronged you
Leaving an empty corpse and ashes
It’s the truth, and people still don’t see
How do they think this is all okay when they have been
Wronged
By me
And I'm not scared of their petty threats and pleas
To keep them from facing reality
So next Time your
Wronged
Think of Me,
Wait till they come and see
Who has been wronged now
For eternity
You prove To yourself you're Okay,
It’s all right,
There was never no fight
So you have been
Wronged
But apparently.
Right.
After hearing My words
Let us see how well
You sleep

Tonight.

there was a little pigeon, that ate a pan, and the pigeon was good at water polo. so it played video games for breakfast, and told his deaf mom, to cook his little brother for dinner, and then look at bob's website. the pan was a weird guy that ate mashed potato for breakfast, and also ate a thing called ricegum.
and then he decided to have a fight with someone so he went to the pigeons house, and realized that the pigeon was playing video games, he did not approve of this. pigeons should watch ricegum on YouTube, so he threw mashed potato through the window, and killed the pigeon, but the pigeon revived himself

We are all born
The way we are
And want to do
What we want to do.

Men marry men
Nobody should care.
Women marrying women
Nobody should care.
Changing genders or
Just being born different
Nobody should care.
But they do
And they make their life
Harder
And
Harder
Each day.

CHANGE
By Logan Nusser
Dont do drugs
Or you’ll be eaten by slugs

Don't drink too much alcohol
Or you’ll be hit in the head by a basketball

Don't use guns
Or you will be tickled by nuns

Dont spank kids
Or you’ll be dropped in a shark tank

Do believe in climate change
Do believe in hope

If we do these simple things
There will be a change
