Dandelion growing in the wind By Mark Vazquez

Dandelion growing in the Wind
By Mark Vazquez

Slowly climbing up through the air
Having the wind blow it everywhere
Whoosh Fwoosh goes the white little dots
Getting carried in the wind without any thoughts
The stem bends over from the power of the wind
Getting trampled by the pressure of the wind
fwoom fwooom fwoom
The dandelion gets back up and keeps going
It just wants to keep on growing
Its little tiny white flowers are flowing
and they just keep on flowing
and glowing in the summer nights sky.

Willa's More Haikus

More Haikus:

Tick tock, goes the clock.
Your time is running out, now.
Someone is coming.

Tonight we are young.
Unraveling evidence
like a tangled string.

The pen on paper.
Furiously quirelling.
It’s full of color.

Singing through the room.
Dancing around in circles.
The beat of the drum.

I am now plugged in.
I am addicted, the sight
Is too much for me

My tears are streaming
Down my chin, I can’t help but
need a tree to hug

Poem

Have you ever thought where your words go?

Your words don't just disappear
they soar in the air
like an airplane.

Your words don't just go nowhere
They gome home to there word family

Words are free
They have no rules,
like animals

Words have feelings
LIke humans, like us

RANDOM HAIKU

Don't Hurt Yourself

Don’t hurt yourself
Your face isn’t a mask Don’t Hide it

Your skin isn’t paper Don’t Cut it
Your body isn’t a book Don’t Judge it
Your life isn’t a movie Don’t End it

Jonathan's Poem

I dream beyond the stars as I travel through each universe. I wonder if each galaxy has an atmosphere of life an astronaut going from earth to planet to planet. It will always be a mystery to ourselves. Day after day I still wonder, but as I look down I'm still worried about people living on earth.

Lucy's Haikus

Bright blue eyes within
Trees, buildings, shadows the same
Everly shadows

The careful spring air
Buds popping and sprouting out
The orchestra sings

The monster stepped out
From the dark and lurks beneath
Turned on the flashlight

Noisy kids’ chaos
Oh, oh the noise noise noise noise!
Quiet settling

Don’t touch the white tile!
Science is your worst subject!
Failed! Level 18

Study Hall’s mourning
The next and most amazing

Miss Lucy Meissner

Willa's Haikus

Haiku:

It was very dark.
Terribly, like a magnet
the white snow stuck.

Lovers on a stoop
Suddenly a bad wind storm
Had struck down the night.

The sleepover night
I’m stuck in my sleeping bag
Be safe down the stairs

It is pouring rain.
I am in love with the sound
of the orchestra

Like a mystery.
books piled in the corner
yearning to be read.

Trees, like big bad wolves.
Ballerinas in the wind.
Laughter in silence.

Georgia's Haikus

The seasons go by
Black and white, light and darkness
From the gray life is born

Iron swords are forged
For the purpose of weather
Words can often hurt

The pen is mightier than
The rabid squirrel  who  gathers
Small pointy black twigs

Icicles
Cheesy and yummy
Chickens squawk

Chameleons sing
The phone rings loudly and yells
Softly as the wind

A mask of steel  looks
At the blinding white of flames
Grass is always red

Lucien's Haiku

I am amazing.
The explosion blew my mind.
They are all around.

Group Exquisite Corpse Poem

I'm in love Coco.
I dream beyond the stars.

Then there was a bear coming to get me.

The bunny sees you. They call him Bonnie.
Sun at day, but dead at night.
I am amazing!!

It took me over, and I couldn't break through.
IT WAS DARK.
Ducks are yellow and fluffy.

I like cheese.

Unicorns are farting all over the place.
I threw it on the ground.

Then Bonnie came and killed me by stuffing me in him.
The last thing I saw was everyone looking at me.

The explosion blew my mind.

For it to snow quite a lot
Since snow is my life

Haiku
By Lily Cohen

The green grass grew fast
The typewriter lying there
Slowly leaking ink

Eating ice cream cones
Chocolate, Vanilla, Sugar
Dirt, Worms, Rotten Cheese

The floor is lava
Do not touch the burning ground
Going to preschool

welcome to your death
the animatronics coming
use your light for your life

Bonnie the bunny
the master mind of your  death
now you are in death
Flynn Brier

Lonely
a lonely world
two figures chase each other
softly they collide

Island
i am all alone
 waves crash around my body
finally at peace

Winter

The swirl of the snow
It burns my hands at the touch
World burns around me

"Pain" Poem by Mark Vazquez

Pain looks like a fire wrecking havoc,it looks like a sad mellow rainy day. A wish looksd like a star flying in the night or fireworks popping into the sky. It looks gray with no other colors. It looks like a big predator, like a lion or a tiger tearing into its prey with no mercy. It looks like a tsunami breaking everything in its path. It looks like a desert with no living things. It looks like a puppy with no owner or family. It looks like crunched up fist wanting to punch something. It looks like a village of depressed people. It looks like a parasite tearing you up from the inside out. It looks like someone getting hit with something hard. It looks like someone is break a persons fingers. It looks just sad and awful and depressing. Pain demands to be felt, and it gets what it wants, no matter what. People hate the feeling and the looks of pain. I wish that there was no such thing as pain and I'm sure eveybody else does too.

What a sparkle tastes like

A sparkle tastes sweet and crunchy
like a cookie fresh out of the oven
So nice and sweet, and filled with savory
so soft and chewy, and oh so pretty
so shiny, almost as precious as a jewel
And when finished, we want more
So the next time you see a sparkle,
pop it into your mouth
So you too can experience the taste
of cookies and joy and pleasure

Acid Falls Like Rain

A detonation
of  flavor. So saccharine,
Like

A gut wrenching punch,
leaving a painted scowl

Each brush stroke leaving wails
of agony,
pain.

Tears won't come from a black eye.

A shooting star,
hope, optimism,
turns into grim death

A meteor crushing your gravestone
Leaving a crater of a whole
within thy self

Blood
rolls off the tongue

Cannot be taken back
poison
what your words are now,

Seeping out of your mouth
limiting whatever ability you had left
to speak

Acid falls like rain,
melting your soul,
leaving your body as a husk

To blow into a wind

Tumbleweed flying by a
desert town

Lucien's Poem

A word spreads like a virus
A word spreads like a virus.
Here are some kinds.
The rumor spreads extremely fast and evolves to become more complex.
The lie affects everyone close enough to catch it.

These are both very deadly like a knife or

Burnt Rubber

Burnt Rubber by Lily Cohen

Anger is like burnt rubber

Like a flat tire in the middle of nowhere

And like dream being crushed by the fist of a giant
You're devastated and frustrated

But on good days
It tastes like sugar and candy
And you don't have a care in the world

But the second your day takes a wrong turn,
You taste that familiar burnt rubber taste
that you have dreaded
but can't avoid

But one day I will taste that
Sugar and candy taste again
And my prayers will be answered

Burnt Toast

Burnt Toast
By Taylor Smith

Like fire in my mouth
It turns my tongue to charcoal
Burning through my soul
Like mold and garbage merged together
Its flammable and broken
But like water it will slowly wash away
Into fluffy pillows
And than right back in you

Like a snowflake with sprinkles on top

like a snowflake with sprinkles on top

a sparkle taste like a bunch of little sprinkles

on a little snowflake

But mixed together that taste different

in a way

Then you don't
